The Most Honorable Bishop Ayrton Lecker was named Apostholic  Administrator of Mont San Bruno and we were celebrating it at the popular pub The George. There Miss Julie Oliphaunt and her husband Mr. Absent were so warm as always!
It was a wonderful party with: His Majesty The King Frederick II of Prussia, His Excellency Grand Duke Jacon Cortes from Texas, HH Princess Anna Amalia of Prussia,  Margrave Baturron Zimer, Countess Marliz  Lenroy, Viscountess Nadia Hoof, Officer William Greymoon between others.

Republic of Texas Army Promotions and Award Ceremony

On June 16, under a deep blue summer sky, government officials and military commanders of Antiquity Texas, visiting dignitaries, and family members gathered at the Presidio la Bahia in Antiquity Tejas for an official ceremony to bestow honors and promotions on its most recent military heroes.   The awards ceremony was most impressive and many a lacey handkerchief dabbed at moist eyes as the name of a loved one was read out and his or her exploits proclaimed.

Our gallant solders stood straight and proud, resplendent in their handsome blue dress uniforms, mirror-bright boots and silvery swords, as the declarations were read out by Jacon Cortes, General of the Antiquity Texas Military, presented on behalf of the President of Antiquity and the Duques de Bexar.   Seven of the awardees were instrumental in the success of the recent battle at Jabberwock.  They comported themselves with great courage and dignity in the face of stiff opposition from the dastardly pirates who attacked their fleet.

Please join us in congratulating these brave men and woman of the Army of the Republic of Texas.

Los Texanos, A Jacon Cortes Design at the Gilded Age Fashion Show–THIS NOON!

Attorney General Jacon Cortes is to showcase his newest design, the Colonel William Travis suit, this noon SLT at the Gilded Age Fashion Show. Colonel William Travis was a commander of the Alamo Mission in San Antonio Texas. In the Battle of the Alamo, while under siege from the Mexican Army, he wrote:

[To the People of Texas and All Americans in the World:

Fellow citizens & compatriots;

I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna. I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man. The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken. I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls. I shall never surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch. The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country. VICTORY OR DEATH.

William Barret Travis

Lt. Col. comdt 2495

P.S. The Lord is on our side. When the enemy appeared in sight we had not three bushels of corn. We have since found in deserted houses 80 or 90 bushels & got into the walls 20 or 30 head of Beeves.
